Networking for the Needy

The Independent Business Women's Circle (IBWC) invites you to join them for an intimate networking event to benefit those in need within the Long Island community. If you’re fortunate enough to have your home, your job/business and food on your table, please remember that there are many in our area that are not as fortunate. Some have lost hope and desperately need assistance. We can help by supplying funds, non-perishable food, toys, clothing and school supplies. Any and all items will be given to local charities, specifically the Interfaith Nutrition Network. For our meeting we will be acknowledging the upcoming holiday of Thanksgiving and focusing on gratitude. All will be asked to give testimony to what they are thankful for this year… and what they plan to do next year to grow their business. Enjoy a tasty lunch, invite a friend for free and help bring some joy into the lives of those who rely on the kindness of others to get them then through these difficult times. The Independent Business Women's Circle is proud to celebrate Women's History Month by focusing on women who have overcome obstacles both professionally and personally to attain their level of success. Featured will be guest speaker Janine Dion, a member of LI Business News' Top 50 Women's Hall of Fame. In addition to her position as sales and marketing director for Crest Hollow Country Club, she has been honored numerous times for her work with the animal protection organization Pet Peeves, which she founded five years ago. We'll be asking others to share their stories so that we can leave the meeting feeling inspired and empowered.
